Customer Review: FUN FAMILY TOY
We got this projector for Christmas and the kids have been having a blast with it. They set it up in the basement and hung a sheet up for a screen. There is a “texture” that is apparently from the bulb. I read somewhere there may be a way around this (different bulb?). The picture is not perfect but after messing around for a while we found that the biggest improvement came from positioning yourself farther away from the screen (that’s why it is in the basement, our living room is small). I think our biggest complaint is the color control. Some movies seem to have better color results than others. I would not recommend this for movies that have a lot of dark scenes. We also hooked it up to surround sound. I think having “big sound” with the big picture gives enough ambience to make it worthwhile. If you are looking for movie theater quality picture, skip this toy. If you realize that it is about 1/10 the price of a “real” projector and just want to have fun, go for it. The kids can’t wait to have movie parties outside this summer. Overall we think it was worth the money.
Customer Review: excited
Just found this on clearance rack for $75. I though it would be fun for movie night! Can’t wait to watch a movie on it tonight. I think for $75 and the bulbs are cheap you can’t beat that price. Kids don’t car if it has the best quality of picture.

KidzMouse CoolBug - Mouse - wired - PS/2, USB CoolBug is a kid-friendly computer mouse for young children. A great way to get children involved into computers without the intimidation. As computers are becoming a way of life the younger the child, the easier it will be to grasp the idea of PCs. Many adults have been caught by surprise and have had to learn to operate a computer at a later age - don’t let this happen to a child.
Customer Review: wonderful mouse
This mouse is perfect! It’s cute, small, and you can change it so both buttons are primary clicks. This makes it so easy for my 3 year old to use the computer.
Customer Review: Excellent Children’s Mouse
I ordered two KidzMouse CoolBug mice for my four year old son’s school. About a month ago, I purchased one for him and now he can use the computer without any problems. This is an excellent device for children to start using educational computer programs. The size is just perfect for their little hands and without the wheel it enables them to use the mouse and not get distracted by the wheel.

Thomas Edison for Kids: His Life and Ideas, 21 Activities (For Kids series)
Thomas Edison, one of the world’s greatest inventors, is introduced in this fascinating activity book. Children will learn how Edison ushered in an astounding age of invention with his unique way of looking at things and refusal to be satisfied with only one solution to a problem. This book helps inspire kids to be inventors and scientists, as well as persevere with their own ideas. Activities allow children to try Edison’s experiments themselves, with activities such as making a puppet dance using static electricity, manufacturing a switch for electric current, constructing a telegraph machine, manipulating sound waves, building an electrical circuit to test for conductors and insulators, making a zoetrope, and testing a dandelion for latex. In addition to his inventions and experiments, the book explores Edison’s life outside of science, including his relationship with inventor Nikola Tesla, his rivalry with George Westinghouse, and his friendship with Henry Ford. A time line, glossary, and lists of supply sources, places to visit, and websites for further exploration complement this activity book.
Customer Review: A wonderful resource for science-minded kids (and their parents!)
Laurie Carlson has done it again! Customer Review: questionable
4 some reason, my computer doesn’t realise there’s the mouse connected..i have to disconect and reconnect evrtine i start my computer..donno if it’s my computer or the mouse
Customer Review: Kids Mouse
I bought this mouse cos my 3 yr old was not too good with the touch pad. He got used to the mouse quickly. I had no trouble setting up the mouse, just turned off the computer and turned it back on with the mouse plugged in. Also no trouble with switching between mouse and touch pad as the mouse is too small for my hand. The downside is it lacks a scroll wheel.

Customer Review: These reviews are TOTALLY accurate!
I thought that maybe some of these bad reviews were for the other models of the disney camera. It doesn’t matter! I got the more expensive disney pix max camera ($75) and it performed EXACTLY as every bad review on here states. Grainy pictures, way to bright with flash and too dark without. The wait time between pushing the button and the picture snapping is FOREVER.
I am SO glad that I checked out the quality before giving it to my daughter. I will be taking this back tomorrow and looking for a new product.
Customer Review: Kids Disney Digital Camera
I bought this camera for my little girl for Christmas, and it is a waste of money. It takes terrible pictures. The photo editing software is decent, but the photos aren’t worth bothering to edit. Do not waste money on this camera!

Boxed Customer Review: great music bad presentation
There is no doubt that the music in this so called boxed set is very good and for further info I humbly refer you to previous reviews. My disapointment comes in the destruction of the artist concept and display of the product. After reading the reviews I realized that most of you recall the album release, the albums came in a box format hence the title. But i do not know if the same people recall the original release of the cd which came in a clam shell box cleverly reproducing the album presentation. What is being past as a box is now a jewel case inside a flimsy slip cover the title should now be changed to Mike Oldfield jeweled cased.
Customer Review: A Must for Oldfield Fans
I have to say it… this is one of the best showcases of Mike’s earlier work. This remixed version of “Tubular Bells” was created as a way to convince Mike that a quadraphonic mix should be created and released. Mike listened and proclaimed it perfect as was, so it was released. The original version, compared to this remix, sounded cluttered and confused. Also, the original American quad pressing, using the CD-4 system as opposed to the SQ format used in England, was marred by a very poor quality pressing. Contrary to what was said in the booklet accompanying this box set in CD, the recordings held on these discs are, in fact, SQ quad despite claims otherwise. I also have the LP set, and I directly compared them. So if you have a Dolby Pro Logic II setting on your playback system, by all means use it. The mix of “Ommadawn” is the same as was originally released on both SQ and QS quad versions in England, and on SQ here. The first part contains a chant, by Clodagh Simonds, that builds up toward the conclusion. Played back in surround, this chant takes on an etherial quality; Clodagh’s voice suspended in mid-air as the additional instruments gradually come in. This is lost in the stereo mix, which I also have on another CD. “Hergest Ridge” features a musical tone poem, as it could be described, of where Mike was brought up. The shorter selections in the “Collaborations” album are also quite good. “In Dulci Jubilo”, which is a Christmas song, takes on a highland fling style. As for “Speak”, it’s a duet with Mike and David Bedford on the vocals. This is a great box set, and I encourage any true Mike Oldfield fan to add it to their collection.

Jesus Life for Children Under 12 Inches Customer Review: Cafe in Montreal
8 years ago…open air cafe…Montreal…sun…and this music that melted into me from their stereo system. Bought this, and the rest of Kid locos’ compilations.
Customer Review: Mogwai
The remix of the mogwai song Tracy is enought to buy the album, one of the prettiest long songs. Listen to any with anyone you like and you will always connect it with them. The Mogwai version of Tracy doesn’t come close.

Christmas Extraordinaire Chip Davis’s Mannheim Steamroller hasn’t lost any ground in the six years since their last Yuletide offering. Christmas Extraordinare is another innovative and heartfelt collection of seasonal treasures played on a combination of 18th-century instruments and modern-day synthesizers, drums, and electric guitars. While not the first to marry different ages of musical instruments, Davis and his cohorts use them with imagination and an intensity that gives new life and drama to this rather inert genre. For material, Mannheim Steamroller asked their fans to choose their favorite holiday selections and vote on their Web site. The results of the poll are a fine mix of old and new–with slightly more emphasis on the modern–ranging from the bracing “Fum, Fum, Fum,” a traditional Catalan carol, to Tchaikovsky’s “Faeries” from The Nutcracker. Mannheim Steamroller imbues this beloved song with an almost militaristic edge, grounding it with an ominous tuba that gives the usually fey “Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairies” an edgy tension. “Winter Wonderland” is a spectacular work, bordering on prog rock, as if Emerson, Lake & Palmer had re-formed to whip up a winter blizzard gone amok. While most of the Mannheim Steamroller’s Christmas albums are largely instrumental, Davis has employed the considerable talents of University of Michigan’s Glee Club to sing on “O Tannenbaum,” respectfully fading their elegant, full vocals around the pristine voice of Johnny Mathis, elevating this German carol to a cinematic peak. Don’t miss out on the clever liner notes, which give the reader a whimsical, anecdotal history of the 12 songs. –Jaan Uhelszki
