Customer Review: Keeps attention
I bought this toy for my 8 month old son, and he loves it. He likes the sounds and music and especially the colored lights. I like that it is teaching number words, color words, etc. I also like that one maraca makes no special sounds (just shakes like a rattle), so when Mommy needs a break from the noise, I can have one! The only problem I have had is that my sons 4 year old sister keeps taking it away from him, because she likes it too!
Customer Review: Beautiful lights!!!
My daughter loves these!!! She grabs them and shakes them and looks at the color and bobs her head!! It’s adorable!! The colors are said as it lights up the colors so it is very educational I can also switch it to spanish!!!! I was a little disappointed that both dont light up but I guess that wouldn’t be the best! ANYWAYS GET THIS!!! Very educational and perfect for any kid thats a fan of lights & music!

Customer Review: Great Leapster Game
My 5 year old daughter got this as a gift for Christmas and she just loves playing this game! I’ve played a few of the games on it myself and was surprised as to how much you actually can learn. Educational and fun :)
Customer Review: Leapster Cars
I bought this for my youngest son and he loves it. It’s educational but he doesn’t realize he’s learning. He has alot of fun with it.

LeapFrog Leapster Educational Game: Thomas & Friends Calling All Engines The Leapster Thomas the Tank Engine book is a great way to teach your children important learning skills while they play with Thomas and his friends!
Customer Review: Fun at first, but doesn’t hold their attention.
My boys just turned 5 and this was the first game they got for their Leapsters a month ago.

LeapFrog Leapster Educational Game: Word Chasers Word Chasers is exciting educational fun! Choose a cat, then catch mice and and the correct letters at teh same time, to spell out words. This fast-paced game builds advanced phonics and spelling skills.
Customer Review: GREAT FUN!
My (just turned) 4 y/o son has this game. Even though he doesn’t konw how to spell well, he likes to move the cat around to avoid or eat the mice. He only knows how to spell sight words (car, cat, bat, nap, etc), and sometimes needs help with those. For some reason, he always choses level 4 - words like firefighter!

LeapFrog Leapster Educational Game: Scholastic Math Missions Math Missions gives children a chance to save the stores of Spectacle City and develop real-world math skills. As they complete orders at a candy store, build a skyscraper and more, they’ll learn to face math challenges in the realworld.
Customer Review: She loves it
We got this cartridge for Christmas for my 6 year old daughter. She loves it. In fact, my older kids love it too. They compete to see who can get the most money saved up, and get their name on the high score list in the arcade. This was our first LeapPad purchase. We will definately get more.
Customer Review: 7 year old daughter loves this
My kids got Leapster L-max’s for Christmas this year and this is my daughter’s favorite game. She will play it for hours if I let her and she is learning! I am excited to see what other games are available for her. My 3 year old son absolutely loves the Letter Factory game. He is really learning his alphabet. It is so neat to see them having fun playing and learning at the same time.

Customer Review: Fun & Educational - a family favorite Leapster game
Santa brought this for my (soon to be) 6-year old, and she loves it! It is by far her favorite game. It is educational, fun, and does not fall into a repetitive rut that would make the game boring.
There are goals set to “win” animals, and quizzes on the animal once you have enough points. This game is set to reward correct answers & doesn’t make a big deal if an incorrect answer is selected. Just try again!
We love this game & would recommend it for any child under the age of 8.
Customer Review: Don’t think twice…this is a great Leapster item
Of all my daughters 6 games this is her favorite. She loves the animal facts and games that make this such a great buy. I search Amazon specifically for the Leapster games and am so impressed with what you get for the price.

LeapFrog Leapster Educational Game: Cosmic Math Cosmic Math is educational science-fiction adventure! Defend your ship from flying space debris and blast away at cosmic rocks to find the right answers to math questions. This stellar arcade game reinforces first and fourth grade math skills.
Customer Review: Math Rocks!
Cosmic Math is a great cartridge to add to your Leapster Library. Cosmic Math has Level one which is addition. Level Two is subtraction. Level Three is multiplication. Level Four is division. I love handheld video games and I love to learn new math facts (sometimes it just gets a little boring). So, this cartridge is perfect for me. This cartridge is only for Leapster Multimedia Learning Systems and it does not work on other handheld video games. Are you are a Leapster Owner who loves to blast rocks to learn new math facts? If you are this Leapster Cartridge is for you!
Customer Review: Super learning game
My son loves math, and handheld games. Leapster has, once again, successfully combined those two!

Customer Review: Just a little messy!
This is a great game for those of you who have kids learning to read. It does have letter blocks, so it tends to be a little messy. However it has helped my 6 yr old with reading a lot!!!
Customer Review: So much potential
We are leapfrog fans, owning items from infant to tween. We found this on super sale and gave it to our 5 year old for Christmas. He has a leap-pad and leapster and no complaints there. This disappointed all around.
It doesn’t use the fridge phonic letters, wouldn’t you think it should? But the main issue is it’s so slow. My son loved the idea of playing a game on the TV, but in less than 2 word assemblies he was done. It takes too long with various screen music and instructions, when he was excited to just get on with it and build words. It also doesn’t come with enough letters to build any but the most basic word sets. There are so many great 4 letter words that need more than 1 of each letter!
He actually put it back in the box and said he didn’t want it. From the straight forward actions of a child. Back it went.
Great concept- just too much filler.

LeapFrog Alphabet Pal Caterpillar (Colors May Vary) Here’s a learning toy that offers kids a wonderful, interactive introduction to the world of letters, sounds, and colors. Alphabet Pal features several ways to play–pull the string and, antennae flashing, the jolly green caterpillar rolls happily along singing the alphabet song. When one of the caterpillar’s 26 multicolored alphabet legs is pressed, kids hear the name of that color, letter, or letter sound depending on which mode they choose. Best of all, Alphabet Pal is a parent’s friend, too–it’s not too loud and turns off by itself when idle. It comes with three demonstration batteries, which should be replaced with regular AA batteries. Made of durable plastic, the toy is 7 by 11.5 inches long. –Marianne Painter
Customer Review: Great learning toy
We purchased this as a Christmas gift for our then 1 yr old daughter. She really didn’t think much of it until after she turned two. Now that she’s older she is liking it more - of course some days more than others. It’s over all a cute idea, however, they could have picked a less grating voice.
Customer Review: Very creative and educational
Great toy so far. I have only owned this for 2 months. I am worried that the legs might not hold up and my other concern is that with all those legs it is a bit difficult to clean. The string is way too short for my son to pull the catepillar along. The only thing I do not like is that it only does short vowel sounds (no long vowel sounds), but I guess I am expecting a lot. We like to press letters consecutively to sound out words (i.e. go, mom, hi), but it was not really meant for that because it only does the short vowels. Other than a few complaints, the toy has lots of settings and is very fun and educational!

LeapFrog Learn&Groove Alphabet Drum Get in the learning groove with this delightful drum. It displays light-up ABCs so your little one can learn the alphabet while playing, singing and dancing to the beat. Features three fun learning modes: Alphabet, Dance Along and Musical Play. Teacheslanguage, creativity and physical movement in both English and Spanish. Requires 3 “AA” batteries (included). Measures 8″ tall.
Customer Review: Great musical toy
My daughter loves this drum. She is 5-months old and loves to bang on it and roll it around. It can be set to English or Spanish settings. Babies can learn to experiment with music and older kids can learn the alphabet (in 2 languages).
Customer Review: leapfrog drun
After a lot of research, I decided to buy this toy for my 15mos old daughter. She is not interested in it at all. Maybe she’s too old or maybe she’ll grow into it, but right now she wants nothing to do with it. Overall a waste of money for us.

LeapFrog Leapster Educational Game: Scholastic Clifford The Big Red Dog Reading With Leapster’s Clifford The Big Red Dog, your child will have fun playing with Clifford and his friends, while still learning all about reading and writing! Clifford’s BIG sneeze has scattered the pages of Emily Elizabeth’s joke book all over Birdwell Island — oh no! Help Clifford and his friends play reading games to gather the jokes. Build Preschool and Kindergarten reading skills while learning funny new jokes.
Customer Review: Granddaughter loves it!
WE bought this game for our 4 and 1/2 year old granddaughter and she loves it. The only problem is she masters things very quickly and is ready for the next levels. She gets a lot of use out of her Leapster.
Customer Review: difficult for the beginer writer
I bought clifford for my 4yr’s birthday. He loves the game… his only frustration, echo’d by my husband and I, is that when it asks for the player to “trace” the letters to practic writting, it is VERY sensitve to going outside of the lines and forces you to try and try again. That is difficult for a 4yr old. My husband and I had to concenrate as well on being able to trace simple letters due to the sensitivity of the game. I think that with time this will become less of an issue, but for a new writer, it is very frustrating. The games were fun and engaging and is is willing to keep picking it up to try again.

LeapFrog ClickStart Educational Software: Finding Nemo - Sea of Keys Finding Nemo: Sea of Keys proves there’s nothing fishy about underwater learning fun. Customer Review: fun and educational
My 3-year old received this game for Christmas and loves it. He asks to play it daily and has had much more success with it than the games that came pre-loaded on the ClickStart.
