Some of the world’s leading LEGO Mindstorms inventors share their knowledge and development secrets. You will discover an incredible range of ideas to inspire your next invention. This is the ultimate insider’s look at LEGO Mindstorms and is the perfect book whether you build world-class competitive robots or just like to mess around for the fun of it.
Customer Review: Good book but not NXT
I bought this book to get a better understanding of the Mindstorm NXT system. While this book is very interesting, it does not cover NXT — so the descriptions of the programming, the sensors, even the basic lego pieces do not match what you’d get in a NXT package.
Customer Review: Very good book about a very cool system.
MindStorms is an absolutely fascinating robot building system for children, adults, and those who don’t fit well into either category. This book helps you delve more deeply into the principles behind making really cool robots with MindStorms. The opportunities for learning are just never-ending, and at the same time, the limitless fun anyone can have, from pre-teen to geezer, makes the learning very rewarding. This book helps open this potential.

Grand Tournament (Knights’ Kingdom Reader Level 4)

After their Kingdom is taken over by the Dark Knight Vladek, a band of heroic Knights are forced to travel on a dangerous quest to find the Heart of the mythical Shield of Ages-the one thing that can help the Knights defeat the Dark Knight in a Grand Tournament to take back their homeland.

Customer Review: Conclusion of the first adventure in the series
This book provides the second half of the adventure begun in “Search for the King”. If you’re just starting out with Knight’s Kingdom books (and toys, of course!), these two books are the ones to start with.
The style of writing is stiff, but seems appropriate for the subject matter. My kindergartner isn’t yet able to read these books on his own, but loves to hear them read to him. He has all the Lego toys that are part of the Knight’s Kingdom series too. Very fun for young boys.

LEGO BIONICLE Phantoka Toa Lewa

LEGO BIONICLE Phantoka Toa Lewa Customer Review: Toa Lewa Nuva Phantoka of Air
This is a great set to buy. I like how tall he is, and the jetpack on his arms. He also carries the Midak Skyblaster. It contains 4 silver spheres that are the same as Zamors and is easy to fire. The new pieces are the Midak Skyblaster, the mask, the weapon, the jetpacks, and the hands, which are a little different from earlier sets. I recommend this set to anyone.

LEGO Star Wars V-Wing Fighter

LEGO Star Wars V-Wing Fighter Both original Star Wars fans and those just getting acquainted with the saga will enjoy putting together this replica of a V-Wing fighter from Episode III: Revenge of the Sith. This small model is only 8-1/2 inches long and, with 118 pieces, takes just 15 to 30 minutes to construct. It is a good beginner building set for younger kids and also suitable for collectors who aren’t looking for a huge building challenge. The ship features wings that fold in and out and a detachable canopy (although a hinged canopy would be preferable). One Clone V-Wing Pilot minifig comes with the set and fits within the fighter’s cockpit. The manual contains easy-to-follow illustrated instructions and includes a full inventory of all pieces with part numbers in case builders need to order a replacement. –Cristina Vaamonde
Customer Review: A Must-have!
If you are a Lego Star Wars maniac like I am or not,the V-wing is a must have! It is a lot of fun to play with and almost NEVER breaks. It comes with a cool clone trooper pilot and an R-7 droid. It has two big wings at the top and four smaller wings at the top and bottom. Both kinds of wings can move. There are also two large blasters and two little blasters. The large blasters are above the little blasters. It is not at all hard to assemble, and if you are new to Legos this is a good one to start off with. The only down part is that the clone pilot does not come with a blaster so you have to add one. But other than that, it is a pretty much all-around good set. I think it is one of the great ones!!
Customer Review: Lego Star Wars V-Wing Fighter
My 11 yr. old son loves Lego’s in general. I brought him a few of the Star Wars Legos for Christmas and he put them together rather quickly and has been enjoying them ever since.

Customer Review: LEGOs - Still a Great Toy but Not Much For The $$$$
Instead of “Ultimate Building Set” it would be more appropriately called “Nice Starter Set”.
The set was as described but the box size and name makes it look like there are many more blocks than you actually get.
There are enough blocks in this set to keep a 9 year old interested for 5 or 6 play sessions. I will probably need to buy at least 2 more sets if I want to have enough to keep a kid interested.
I do reccomend this set over the pre-designed sets that push you to make a certain structure. The mixed blocks give the freedom to be creative. LEGOs are great; just be aware that if you really want to have fun you need more than what comes in this box.
Customer Review: Awesome basic set
I was surprised that so many things can be built with these legos. I didn’t expect it to be so versatile. I loved legos as a kid, and this is the first set I’ve bought for my children, ages 7, 4, and 1. I like that the container is BIG and sturdy, so clean up is easy and we’ll be able to add to the collection.

Customer Review: Great Christmas 2007!
As always LEGO comes through with a great idea!
My 5 yr old son received this for his birthday and his cousin wanted it as soon as she saw it!
It is great for learning to follow directions!
Be sure you keep a tupperware bowl around for small pieces.
We call legos vacuum food -because if you lose them on the floor
you can’t get them back!
Customer Review: Very Cool Toy
LEGO SpongeBob The Krusty Krab We bought this lego for my 5 year old and its his favorite toy. He will spend hours playing with it!! My 7 year old loves it too. I highly recommend this to any lego fan. Parents will have to help build The Krusty Krab. But once its built the kids will have a blast!!!

Customer Review: Another treat for Lego enthusiasts!
My son picked this out as something he wanted for Christmas and was absolutely delighted with it. Of course he finished it much faster than I would have wanted . . . but he enjoyed it immensely, and it will soon be disassembled for reassembly sometime in the future.
Customer Review: Nice toy!!!
Not too hard to put together. My 9yr old son did it in about 3 hours. I just wish it was more durable so he could play with it more.

Bionicle Adventures #8: Challenge Of The Hordika (Bionicle Adventures)

Transformed into strange half-Toa, half-beast Toa Hordika, the heroes of Metru Nui must master new powers and skills while struggling against the power of their darker natures. Aided by the mysterious Rahaga, the Toa Hordika explore a ruined city of legends in their mission to save the Matoran.

Customer Review: One of the Greater Adventures!
Basically, if you have read the entire Chronicles AND the the previous Adventures, then you basically know that BIONICLE has taken a 2-year flashback. At the conclusion of the 2003 Story, the Toa learn of a strange new land, one they are destined to journey to. Funny thing is, this Island is perhaps even MORE ancient than the island they currently live on, Mata Nui. Before they journey, the village elders, the Turaga, most notably Turaga Vakama, decide to tell the Toa & Matoran (the Villagers) all they know of this ancient land. THAT’s the flashback, which has taken 2 years to complete, story & set wise.
