LeapFrog ClickStart Educational Software: Animal Art Studio Animal Art Studio, a LeapFrog original, blends art and music with fun animal characters to foster kids’ creative expression and critical thinking skills. Children can draw an animal in its habitat or create the habitat around it; mix and match animal parts to form new creatures; or animate animals for a parade. For use with the ClickStart My First Computer (sold separately).
Customer Review: My child loves this
This is my 2.5 year old’s favorite clickstart game. It has four different games with one level.
Rainforest Paint - Children can paint a picture using red, yellow and blue. There is also a color mixer where they can mix two colors. This section has several pictures to color.
Savannah Diorama - This is my child’s favorite. Your child will place animals and objects such as trees and ponds onto a savannah background. The animals will walk around and teach some basics of animal behavior. For example, the giraffe will eat leaves from a tree. You child can also make a crazy creature by choosing the head, body and legs of different animals. Unfortunately, there is just one scene. It would have been nice if you could choose from a few different scenes and different types of animals.
Animal Parade - Children match shapes, colors and patterns on an animal to the same shapes, colors and patterns on an object that floats toward the animal. Excellent for teaching matching.
Shimmering Ocean - This is a jigsaw with 20 cards. Children will have to turn over the correct cards to complete the picture.
